The LX6, the proven workhorse

The LX6 is a 10-channel computerized data-acquisition system with 32-bit A/D conversion, 180 samples/second across all channels and 5,000 Vrms electrical isolation. Superior quick-release Fischer connectors that cannot be mis-connected, a rugged textured enclosure and full backward compatibility have made it the gold standard for federal agencies and accredited examiners.

The LX7, the flagship

The LX7 is Lafayette's most advanced instrument: 11 channels, ECG capability and PAT (Pulse Arrival Time) measurement, retaining 32-bit resolution, 180 samples/second and 5,000 Vrms isolation. It adds a photoelectric plethysmograph (PPG) for more reliable cardiovascular readings and is fully backward-compatible with LX6 sensors and accessories.

Software and scoring

Both instruments run on Windows via LXSoftware and the next-generation LXEdge platform, bundling validated scoring algorithms (OSS-3 and ESS-Multinomial) along with PolyScore and RLE/PLE analysis tools for objective, defensible chart evaluation.
