Retraining the brain
BFT is a computerised cognitive retraining module that applies principles of neuroplasticity (restitution, substitution and activation) to restore cognitive deficits in patients with neurological conditions and to enhance cognitive performance in non-clinical populations.
Who it helps
Traumatic brain injury, stroke, neurodegenerative and psychological disorders can compromise attention, memory, processing speed, executive functions, language and visuo-spatial abilities. BFT has also been used successfully with anxiety, depression and hyperactivity in children, and by healthy users to improve memory and other cognitive skills.
Paced to the client
Training is paced at the client's convenience, tracks progress session over session, and can be administered in the language the client is most comfortable with.
